Current Projects

Random Day In May was a project established by Tommy’s Mom. She knew how sad it always made Tommy to see children going through cancer treatments. She also knew how many great organizations do toy drives during the winter holidays. The Tommy Savino Foundation wanted to do something different. It’s unfortunate when children are in the hospital when the weather is changing, so we wanted to find a way to help brighten their days and make them smile. This past May 2025, we had our first ever Random Day In May. We were lucky to be able to donate 120 toys to children at Joesph Sanzari Children’s Hospital in Hackensack, NJ. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who donated and can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition.

The Tommy Savino Foundation has partnered with Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, where we launched Etched With Love. A program providing grieving parents with handcrafted jewelry featuring their child’s unique finger print or footprint.

We are also proud to be launching Tommy’s Toy Box. An initiative dedicated to placing a toy chest in the Goryeb’s pediatric ICU waiting room for the siblings of their patients. It’s our way of spreading joy, comfort, and the healing power to play with families navigating difficult medical journeys. Your support will help keep that box filled with toys.
